CANDLE IN THE WINDOW

When I awake each day
First I seek out your face
Then to the Lord I pray
Saying "Give us this day"

Though we fall and may falter
Let your love keep us together
To hear when you call
And with haste to you come

I hope that your smile
Never goes off in the dark
Lest I stumble blindly around
Don't forget;  'Your smile is the light upon my path'
